Steiner Yao Elakor Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Steiner Yao Elakor, who left this world on April 26, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on February 5, 1981, in Tafo, Ghana, Steiner's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and a zest for living that touched all who knew him.

Steiner was raised in New Rochelle, NY, a place where his early years shaped his compassionate spirit and enduring kindness. Later, he made his home in Fremont, CA, for a decade before moving to Morrisville, PA, just two years prior to his passing. It was there that he devoted himself to serving others as a caregiver for Infinity Health Care Services in Abington, PA, a role he embraced for the past two years with unwavering commitment and empathy.

His vibrant personality shone through his many interests and hobbies. Steiner was passionate about working out and bodybuilding, always pushing himself to be stronger and healthier. He was a curious soul, fascinated by Asian culture and eager to learn all he could about it. Cooking was one of his joys, as was immersing himself in the world of video games on his PS5. To unwind, he found peace in fishing, enjoyed the thrill and grace of rollerblading, and had a heart full of love for animals. These passions reflected the depth and warmth of a man whose spirit was as lively as it was gentle.

Most profoundly, Steiner gave his life to the Lord on April 24, 2026, at 3:30 PM — a testament to his enduring faith that was a cornerstone of his life.

He is survived by his loving mother, Matilda Kaledzi, and father, Gershon Elakor, whose pride in their son is immeasurable. Steiner also leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Mark Hunter, and his beloved niece, Faith. These family bonds were a source of joy and strength for Steiner, a reminder of the love and connection that transcends even the greatest losses.

The community is invited to honor Steiner's memory with a visitation on May 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Both events will be held at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, located at 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment in Morrisville Cemetery will be held at a later date.

As we gather to remember Steiner, we reflect on a life lived with passion, faith, and kindness - a man who touched hearts and inspired those around him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit endures in the memories he created and the love he so generously shared. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in his legacy of courage and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a memorial contribution, in Steiner's memory, to the Healing Center Community Church, 200 Penn Ave., Levittown, PA 19057 (http://www.healingcentercommunitychurch.com.).
