Alan Leroy Davenport Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Leroy Davenport (Fresno, California), born in Turlock, California, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Betty Ann Wickstrom-Davenport and Don Davenport; his uncles, Marty and Don Johnson; his aunt Doris Wedin Johnson; and his nephew Tyler Klaproth.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Davenport; his children, Tammy Davenport-Kent (Steve) and Erik Davenport; his siblings, Berma Blomquist (James), Marna Klaproth (Ron) and Stephen Davenport (Julia); and his grandchildren, Alyson, Paige, Kelli, Rees, Meghan and Hanna.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cross City Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Springs Camp & Conference Center, a place where Lanny's family spent countless vacations in their cabin Linger Awhile, built by his grandfather. Please specifically donate in Lanny's name to the Camper Scholarships program, a cause close to his heart.
