He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Louise Woodall and Chester Arthur McFarland. He is survived by: his children, Michael Brian McFarland and Christie Lindsay Ortega; his sisters, Sandra McFarland and Deborah Hamilton; and his nieces and nephews, Shane Fisher, Brett Posch, Jim Carlson, Janice Carlson and Jolene Carlson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
