He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth Carol Ripley; his parents, Robert E. Ripley and Ruth I. Ripley; and his siblings, Robert, William, Lewis Ripley (Stub) and Ruth Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey L. Ripley; his daughter Andrea; his children-in-law, Jimmy Wise (Mark), Kim Sorensen (Todd) and Holly Sorensen; and his sister Cordelia Hartwig. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
