She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Metzler, Sr.; and her brother Richard Fries. She is survived by: her children, Stacy Hawkins of Reedley, Lori Metzler of Fresno and John R. Metzler, Jr. of Elk Grove; her sister Sally Oberst of Hughson; and her grandchildren, Michael Metzler, Nic Hawkins, Zac Hawkins and Dominic Metzler. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
