He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Sue. He is survived by: his wife Diana Jenkins; and his children, Sherry Jackson, Corinne Martinez, Linda Brown, Doug Jenkins and Mike Jenkins. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the US Navy Memorial Foundation or the American Heart Association.
