He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Pat Marquardt; his three children, Cheryl Cabos (Manuel), Candace Marquardt, and Tony Marquardt (Kim); and his grandchildren, Nathan Marquardt, Britney Marquardt (Bryce Means), Matthew Marquardt, and Megan Marquardt. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Haggerty; niece Ceara (Haggerty) Shoffstall (Justin); and great-nephew Christian and great-niece Moira.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Marquardt; his sister, Anne Marquardt; and his brother-in-law, Al Haggerty.
