He was predeceased by: his parents, Heriberto Diaz and Paola Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Diaz; his sons, Jose "Joey" Diaz and Cesar Barrientos; his grandchildren, Abigail Garcia, Isaiah Diaz, Miranda Diaz and Anthony Barrientos; and his siblings, Idolina Diaz, Leticia Diaz, Bernarda Diaz, Castulo Diaz and Florencio Diaz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
