He is survived by: his wife Cesaria Rescalvo; his children, Luis, Sergio, Stephanie, Evelyn and Estevan Tafoya; and his siblings, Rafael, Guillermo, Emma and Eliseo Tafoya. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
