He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Trejo and Josephine Chavarria Trejo; his siblings, Ricky Trejo, Mary Lou Pules and Lorraine De La Cruz; his great grandchild Noah Trejo; and his sons, Ricky Trejo and Joe "Joey" Trejo IV (Margaret "Peggy" Trejo).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Michele Batara; his grandchildren, Kristyn (Aaron Walker), Haley Hill and Jonathon Trejo; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn, Carter, Zayden and Mason Trejo.
