With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Alden Goodfellow of Fresno, California, born in Burley, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald T. Goodfellow and LaRue Nielsen Goodfellow; his former wife Vaunda Young Goodfellow; and his siblings, Gary, Lee and Jennie Goodfellow Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Ana M. Goodfellow; his children, Joseph Goodfellow, Jennifer Goodfellow (Jill Christensen), Nancy Goodfellow Schmid (Perry Schmid), Yvonne Goodfellow Perez (Arnold Perez), Gerald Goodfellow (Kristine), John E. Goodfellow, Sarah Goodfellow Bhadkamkar (Atul Bhadkamkar) and Matthew Goodfellow (Matt Spencer); his sister Bonnie Goodfellow Wimber; and his grandchildren, Vaunda, Joseph Jr., Zoey, Anna, Ryan, Abigail, Alyssa, Joshua, Jordin, Jaron, Sarah, Stephen, Gregory, Maya and Nikhil. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
