He was predeceased by: his son John Bazan III; his grandson Robert Junior Lopez; and his brothers, Salvador Suarez and Antonio Guzman. He is survived by: his wife Estela Bazan; his children, Sonia Nash and Evan Bazan; his grandchildren, John Anthony Bazan IV, Ericka Bazan, Chlarissa Sifuentes and Cynthia Lopez; his great grandchildren, Ezra Ayden Cox, Audrielle Hayes, Aliyanna Hayes, Nathan Hayes, Bella Sifuentes and Joseph Sifuentes, Jr.; and his siblings, José Guzman, Consuelo Guzman, Guadalupe Guzman, Andrea Guzman and Javier Guzman.
