He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Solomon and Helen Solomon; his sister Lynn Reynolds; and his children, Andy Solomon and Susie Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Solomon; his sons, Jeff (Carolyn) and Jim (Melissa); and his sister Libby Doolittle (Mike). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He volunteered for and donated to Catholic Charities.
