He is survived by: his wife Martha Vela; his daughters, Veronica Vela (Teejay Parker), Samantha Vela, Emily Ramirez (Jacob Ramirez) and Naomi Vela (Ryan Williams); and his grandchildren, Makayla, Zylah, Keanu, Jacob and Mateo. He is also survived by three sisters and numerous family members.
