He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emme. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Nicholas, Stephan (Susanne), Andrea (Brandon), Matthew (Lisa) and Anna (Greg); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Ava, Dominic, Vincent, Lucca, Elizabeth, Lauren, Salvatore, Leo and Nicholas.

Nick returned to Fresno Unified post-retirement to substitute as an administrator to fill a need during the pandemic which added delight to his already joyful life.
