He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Knebel and Frances Knebel; his wife Betty; and his daughter Patricia. He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Merritt and Jerry; his sister-in-law Ruth Knebel of Wenatchee, Washington; and his children, Bob Knebel of Santa Rosa, Paul Knebel of Fresno, Mike Knebel of Fresno and Karen Ward of Chico. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
