“I had the privileged of working with Brother Whittle at the Fresno County Jail from 1993 to 1995. I remember Brother Whittle as being quiet spoken, but full of knowledge and wisdom to share with his fellow brothers and sisters. I remember his girl Zenobia, whom he loved with an unspoken passion. Brother Whittle is now as rest from all his labor. May God continue to keep his family, friends, and loved ones in perfect peace. “My condolences to the family. Whit Dogg was a great coworker, a great friend and my brthr. He was always there for me whenevr i called to chat. He loved my BBQ. He always showed up to purchase 8 to 10 plates when i had cook outs. He stayed to chat everytime with his old pals. I can remember him having my back for anything situation when we work at the jail. He was the coolest coworker. Whit Dogg is what i called him. He will be deeply missed. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND. J. Cole”
