With sadness, we share the passing of Sherry Yvonne Peris (Fresno, California). Sherry, born on May 7, 1946 in Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Finch and Betty Francis; her brother James A. Finch; and her pets, Tasha, Bailey, Roxie, Sadie and Gracie.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Taylor; her sister Deborah Kuykendall Grippi (Frank Grippi); her nephew Brian Kuykendall; and her niece Amy Kuykendall.
A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Clovis Cemetery (305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Pardini's (2257 W Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93705).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center or Animal Rescue of Fresno (ARF), in honor of Sherry's enduring love for animals.
