He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Bell and Ralph Cheney; his siblings, Maurice, Gloria and Kenneth Cheney; and his stepson Robert "Wayne" MacPherson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cheney; his brother-in-law Don MacPherson (Jan); his nieces and nephews, Brenda Lane (John), Debra Zaremba (Dennis), William Cheney II (Charyl-Lynn) and Michele Bonafede (Robert); his grandchildren, Bandie Avila, Jennifer Nguyen (Canh), Danny MacPherson (Faith), Jeremy Lane (Becky), Jacob Zaremba (Jeanette), Mikel Zaremba (Rachel), Christian Bridge and Brett Gonta; his great grandchildren, Breanna Avila (Jonathan), Annabel, Mason, Brickston, Paxton, Greyson, Addison Zaremba, Eric, Paige MacPherson, Ashley Gibson (Josh), Robynn Brown (Levi), Michael, Christopher Navicky, Damion, Jaxon Lane and Savannah Nguyen; his great great grandchildren, Brayden, Grayson Gibson, Trenton Ferguson, Avery and Kane Sanchez; his grandson Eric Cheney; and his great grandchild Trevor Micarelli. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
