With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Dean Vander Kooi of Fresno, California, born in Artesia, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kooi and Catherine Vander Kooi; and his sister Susan. He is survived by: his wife Janet Enns; his children, Will and Cate; and his siblings, Sandra, Ann, Ron, Rob and Pete. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Bill would have appreciated donations to the Evangel Home in Fresno (evangelhome.org), an organization that is aligned with his values and commitment to helping others.
