He is survived by: his wife Maria Parra; his children, Jorge Huerta, Carla Huerta-McCauley (Patrick McCauley) and Vanessa Huerta (Eduardo Mazariegos); and his grandchildren, Mateo McCauley, Zoé McCauley and Vida Mazariegos.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to World Vision -- an organization important to Payo -- or to Corazon de Vida in honor of his grandchildren.
