He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo Saenz Gonzales and Maria Luisa Gonzales (Ramirez); his siblings, Guillermo "Billy" Gonzales (Mina), Jesse Gonzales (Dora), Lupe Stribling and Rosemary Esparza; and his nephews, Gilbert Chavez, Daniel Hinojos, Henry "Bully" Esparza and Marcus Escamilla.

He is survived by: his siblings, Emma Chavez, Mary Rivera, Rachel Escamilla, Della Duran, Nellie Esquivel (Val), Gloria Gonzales and Marcus Gonzales (Sylvia).
