It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benita Lynn Legaspi (Gilroy, California), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Benita Lynn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Benita Lynn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Penny Hamilton (David), Cecilia Ellen Hattendorf (Jeff) and Daniel Cooper (Patty); her sons, Robert Mitchell (Emilia) and Daniel Legaspi (Diana); and her grandchildren, Erik Mitchell, Marissa Mitchell, Demi Legaspi and Dylan Legaspi.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Community Church (8886 Muraoka Dr, Gilroy, CA 95020).
