It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Francisco Avila (Gilroy, California), born in Bisbee, Arizona, who passed away on October 17, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Francisco and Delores; his wife Ann; his children, Connie, Carlos Jr., Mike, Theresa and Carmen; his sister Sonia Dussert; his niece Annette; and his pets, Uma, Ripley, Kelsey, Ziggy and Ong. He is also survived by numerous nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
