He was predeceased by : his wife Kayneta Ordaz of Gilroy; his siblings, Dolores Reynoso, Anna Cortes, Mary Cardenas, Serafin Ordaz and Samuel Ordaz; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Ordaz; his grandson Travis Fachin; and his brother-in-law Victor McSwain.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa Velasco (Jimmie), Dana Fachin (Gene), Christopher Ordaz and Mark Ordaz; his grandchildren, Aaron, Kellie, Chad (Claudia), Terra (Matthew), Neil, Dawn, Kaylyn, Claire, Megan (Travis), Sarah and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Brody, Sadie, Scarlett, Roselie, Danielle, Kendra, Hannah and Noah; his sisters, Sarah Aceves and Margaret Herrera; and his brother-in-law Dudley Bexley of Mobile, AL..

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Gilroy (8455 Wren Ave, Gilroy, CA 95020).
