He is survived by : his wife LaVerne Schulte (Tudy); his in-laws, Frank and Frances Schulte; his siblings, Harlin, Virgil, Maynard Thompson, Phylis Propst, Lorraine Hardie and Virginia Stevanus; his siblings-in-law, John Propst, Kay Hardie, Forest Schmahl, Gerald Schulte, Roman, Ester Schulte, Ralph Schulte, Cliff, Jeanette Schulte, Sally, Laddie Schulte, Mary Ann Schulte, Donald Schulte, Harry and Dodie Schulte; his children, Gaylon Thompson, Sheila Thompson, Glenda Zanger (Joe) and Eric Thompson (Beth); his grandchildren, Gerrod (Lea), Megan (Josh), Elliot (Laura), Aubree, Taryn and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Margot, Ava Zanger and Emery Zanger Reid; his grandson Silas Zanger; and his sisters-in-law, Esther Thompson, Louise Neuhalfen, Sharon Schulte and Marge Schulte.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (11 1st St, Gilroy, CA 95020).
