We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to June Kuwada of Gilroy, California, born in San Jose, California. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her siblings, Chitoshi (Kim) and Amy Miyakawa (Dick); her siblings-in-law, Frank Yoshioka, Helen Yamakoshi (Frank), Frank Kuwada (Alyce), Emily Igarashi (Isaac), Doris Kunimura (Mas), Ben Noto, Frank Hori, Tyrone Kuwada and Akio Toyama (Yasuko); and her nieces and nephews, Mason Kunimura, Alan Yoshioka, Brian Miyakawa, Shirley Baskin (Clay) and Lynn Noto.

She is survived by: her sister Agnes Yoshioka; her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Hori, Laraine Noto, Joyce Kuwada and Celeste Kitagawa (Howard); and her cousins, Takashi Akizuki (Sayoko) and Gary (Candy Akizuki).

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Habing Family Funeral Home (129 4th St, Gilroy, CA 95020). She was an athlete in her youth and continued bowling 3 nights a week and taking exercise classes Monday through Friday up until the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers or koden, please consider making a donation to the San Jose Church Betsuin's funding raising campaign for the new Dharma Center or the Morgan Hill South County J/A Senior Group on her behalf.
