She is survived by: her sisters, Nikki, Mary and Margaret Conn Sjostrand; her spouse Byron John Mechalas; her close friend Gracie Rojas; her sister Kay (Kay); her nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Cathy, Julie Zaferes, Dina Kronas Rand, Andrea Polizos Walker, Susan Mechalas-Gutterridge, John Mechalas and Rob Schwalm; her daughter Chris; and also Harry "Sonny" Mechalas.
