She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Gilstrap; her husband Bill Bly; her daughter Connie Pennington; her brothers, Richard, Leo, Bill Jr. and Jess Gilstrap; and her parent Rushie Gilstrap-Elliott.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny Bly (Evelyn) of Visalia and Terry Bly (Jenny Roberts) of Three Rivers; her son-in-law Kim Pennington (Sanger); and her grandchildren, Stacie, Chris, Brett, Kyle, Kaci and Alicia. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel (127 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia, CA 93277). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Apostolic Church - Goshen (7210 Avenue 308, Visalia, CA 93291). A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Visalia District Cemetery (1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291).
