With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Torben Nielsen in Grass Valley, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Torben may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Torben touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Jens Peter Nielsen. He is survived by: his mother Else Nielsen; his family Meldgard; his wife Jacque Costa-Nielsen; his children, Olivia Hastert (Nicholas) and Simon Nielsen; and his siblings, Ole Holmgaard Nielsen (Tina) and Anne Mette Jensen (Henning). He is also survived by 6 nephews and nieces.
