He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar and Goldie; his wife Carol; his children, Laura Rudd (Doug), Michael Engler (Melissa), Thomas Roach and Brenda Donnahoe (Joe); his brother Phil Roach; his grandchildren, Shelley Sakoda (Clayton), Steven Rudd (Kelly), Julie Travioli (Curtis), Nathan Engler (Lindsay), Taber Engler, Ryan Donnahoe (Slavena) and Ashlyn Gale (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Theo Sakoda, Quinn, Myer, Hank Travioli and Lina Donnahoe.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Grace Lutheran Church or Gridley High School Track and Field.
