He was predeceased by: his parents, William McGowan and Julia McGowan; his aunt Anne McGowan; and his siblings, Peggy Rogozinski, Nancy Keating, Franny Battle and Billy McGowan.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his daughter Erin McGowan; his sister-in-law Marianne Lydon; and his niece Susan.
