“Paul was an irreplaceable light in my life. From the day I moved in next door (3 years ago) he always lifted me up, not once saying an ill word of anyone, always internalizing his pain instead of letting others feel the consequences of their actions. He genuinely cared more about others than himself. I have never EVER known a man to be so authentically good to the very core. His heart of gold was so invaluable to me. My heart is with sweet Ravenna right now. He loved+cherished her SO much! This is such an insurmountable loss for me; I can’t even imagine how empty Paul’s family must feel. He only ever said kind things with so much admiration. There will never be another soul as good and worthy as Paul. I am so glad to know he is dancing with angel’s right now with no sorrow and without the weight of the world on his shoulders. He told me a beautiful verse in Revelation not long before he passed, trying to encourage me as a grieved for my grandfather. He sent me this on August 5th: “Missy I can't help remembering the picture of you and your grandfather on your screen saver you showed me a couple of years ago and how much you love and miss him, I was thinking of two scriptures that the Bible holds out to a time when pain and loss will be gone forever, Revelation 21:4 and John 5:28,29 I hope will encourage you to look forward to a time when when God's word the Bible PROMISES, that you will see and embrace your grandfather once more” My mother has told me more than once that Paul was my guardian angel while he was on Earth. I think it is safe to say that if he was my guardian angel on earth, he’s still my guardian angel today. Thank you to the Snyder family for sharing such a wonderful, wonderful human being with me. He changed my life for the better, and not just mildly. What a terrible loss.
