We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2025, at the age of 69, Richard Scott Macklin of Gustine, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendoll Macklin and Evie Macklin (Iwana); his in-laws, Albert (Bert) and Olivia Mattos; and his brother Ken Macklin.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Macklin (Mattos) of Gustine; his daughter Renee Wright of Delhi; his granddaughters, Paige Olivia and Piper Evie Wright of Delhi; and his brothers, Ron Macklin of Gustine and Jim Macklin (Debbie) of Green Bay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Family prefers donations be made in Rick's name to the VFW or American Legion Auxiliaries, 145 5th Street, Gustine, CA 95322 or to your favorite charity.
