He is survived by: his wife Ashraf; his children, Babak (Glenda) of San Mateo and Bita (Matt) of Sacramento; and his grandchildren, Gemma, Jordan, Emilia and Rumi. He is also survived by sister, brother, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
