He was predeceased by: his father Mohammad Farooq Umer. He is survived by: his mother Wasima Farooq; his wife Irina; his siblings, Ayisha, Armaghan and Ayinan; his in-laws, Alla and Lev; his siblings-in-law, Paul, Georgia and Sarah; his nephews, Balthazar and Keyaan; and his niece Zoya.
