In the sacred silence of farewell, Hilda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Hilda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Roberto Castaneda; and her children, José and Samantha Castaneda. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her honor to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or to the ministries of the Saint Anthony Padua Dining Room.
