Barbara Jean (Dowd) Peters Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean (Dowd) Peters (Hanford, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Dowd and Martin K. Dowd; and her brothers-in-law, Michael Johnston and Tom Martella. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, Tom Hopkins of Oregon, Bobby Peters (Denise) and David Peters (Leah); her grandchildren, Kristin Soverns, Quinn Ashly, Blake, Emily, Tyler Peters, Bailey Arnold-Peters, Curtis Loughridge and Korryn Kennedy; and her siblings, Mary Johnston, Marty Dowd, Shirley Martella, Gary Dowd (Gina) and Patty Avila (Mike). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
