We announce the death of Deborah Ann Proby of Hanford, California, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 62. Deborah Ann will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Deborah Ann will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Deborah Ann’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Proby and Alice Proby; and her siblings, Robert Proby and Carla Proby. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Gutierrez Jr. and Raymond Gutierrez. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and many, many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Peoples Funeral Chapel (501 N Douty St, Hanford, CA 93230-3910). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She also volunteered and worked in multiple cancer awareness events and charities such as Relay for Life through the American Cancer Society, Susan G Komen Organization and The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
