James Durst Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 11, 2025, at the age of 80, James Durst (Hanford, California) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Durst to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melvin Durst and Lillie Faye Shanks Durst; and his brother John Melvin Durst, Jr. of Sacramento. He is survived by: his brother Lawrence "Alton" Durst of Hanford; his wife Suzi; his sisters-in-law, Sally Durst and Carole Reis; his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Joanne Sutphin; his nieces and nephews, Leslie, Dale Gillespie, Daniel and Jonna Durst; and his great-aunt Christina Roup. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren/spouses, 6 great grandchildren/spouses, 2 great great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
