“I was in Mr. Tunison's pottery class at HHS from '05-'08. I had two older sisters who were very artistic and told him not to get to hopeful for my (lacking) artistic skills. He told me he would never compare me to what anyone else could do, he wanted to see I could do. He was a calm, understanding, and friendly presence that helped ground me during my formative years. He taught me that effort matters more than innate ability which had a profound effect on how I've lived my life. -Alyssa Netto”
