It is with sadness that the passing of Cloetele Strong (Hayward, California) is shared. Cloetele, born on June 8, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on September 14, 2026. Cloetele will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Strong; and her granddaughter Devaynee Cornelius. She is survived by: her children, Margo Coleman, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt Strong, Michael Strong, Chlotilde Strong (CC), Linda "Lindy" Strong-Brown, Dina Hamer and Tisha "Tee" Atkins. She is also survived by her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Reflection Chapel (32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Hayward Memorial Park (32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544).
