He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermosenda Costes and Genovevo Pasana Tabanao. He is survived by: his siblings, Delia Tabanao (Virgilio Hidalgo), Renato Tabanao, Leila Gavino (Herminio Trinidad), Alma Gavino and Efren Gavino; his wife Alicia; his children, Randy, Maricon and Elmer Jr. (Lailani); his grandchildren, Lawrence, Laimer and Christian; his child Jericho (Marlyn); his grandchildren, Bryan and Jirah; his son Dennis (Maristela); his grandchildren, Mara, Mecy, Zach, Moses, Andrea and Samuel; his daughter Ella (Mark); his grandchildren, Isaiah and Alaistair; his daughter Sharon (Edmon); his grandchildren, Alonzo and Kyler; and his sons, Ronald (Jolaine), John Michael (Kriselle) and James Ryan (Elaine). He is also survived by his nine children; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
