He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swanson and Ruth Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Claire Swanson; and his children, Van Swanson, Victor Swanson and Joyce Ireland (Terry). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
