He is survived by: his wife Frances P Zubia; his daughters, Rosie, Vicky and Savannah; his stepchildren, Rene Castro, Richard Castro and Reina Rosales; and his sisters, Gloria Chiappone and Laura Zubia. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
