We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025, at the age of 93, Josefina Gomez of Hemet, California, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Morales Padilla and Agripina Hernandez Hernandez; and her siblings, Jesus Morales, Manuel Morales and María Guadalupe Morales.

She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Valadez, Raquel Gomez, Gloria Lopez, Martin Gomez, Fermin Gomez, Jose Antonio Gomez, Maria Leyva, Ana I. Castañeda, Rigoberto Gomez and Osbaldo Gomez; and her brothers, Raul Morales and Miguel Morales. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
