Neil Edward Shea Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil Edward Shea (Hemet, California), born in Volga, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Shea and Lucille Agnes Shea (Milz); his siblings, Ken, Don Shea, Elizabeth Schatz (Betty) and Marilyn Shea; and his sisters-in-law, Laurie and Mary Ann Shea.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Shea; his children, Linda Sims of Mission Viejo, CA, Dan (Debra) of Apache Junction, AZ, Katie (Jerry) of Corona, CA, Michael (Dee) of Gilbert, AZ and Jack (Laura) of Redlands, CA.; his grandchildren, Chase (Vicki), Patrick (Katie), Carly (Matt), Paul, Kyle, Nida, Nathan, Jared, Matthew and Kamilyn; his great grandchildren, Trenton, Dylan, Quinn, Layla, Ella, Addison and Parker; his brother Robert (Bob) of Blacksburg, VA; and his sister-in-law Betty Shea of Cresco, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the Alzheimer's Association or Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hemet, CA.
