He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Sandoval; his daughter Gracie Merihue; and his son-in-law Ismael Merihue. He is survived by: his children, Salvador Sandoval (Mary), Rodrigo Sandoval (Sandra), Rosie Rodriguez, Connie Hernandez (Johnny) and Juan Sandoval (Brenda). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
