She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John; her grandchildren, Meg, Dan and Becky; her daughter Becky; her husband Eugene Beal; her sons, Stephen Beal and Michael Beal (Connie); her grandchildren, Jonathan Beal, Margaret King (Meg Beal), Daniel Beal and Rebecca Beal; her great grandchildren, Titus and Silas King; her cousin Marion Pucci; her brother-in-law Harold Beal; her nieces and nephews, Judy Beal, Janet Griffin (Beal), Thomas Beal, Richard Vaughn and Robert Vaughn; her siblings, Richard Lloyd and Patricia Vaughn (Oates); her niece Kathryn Howard (Beal); Clifford Beal, Leonard Beal and Kenneth Beal.

Hospitalized to battle complications of Covid19, granddaughter Meg and son Mike joined Shirley daily to provide comfort and support while son Stephen and other family and friends reached out by phone and internet to share their love.
