She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Gerald S. Deardorff and H. Wanda Deardorff; husband: Frederick C. Claus (Fred); daughters: Kathy (Patrick) Brackley, Gail (Joe) Nicholas, Rebecca Claus Van Horn, and Diane (Joe) Tune; son: Charles (Sara) Claus; grandchildren: Kevin Van Horn; ranch manager: Juan Elizarraras; other: Michael Smith, Jr.; and 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren on the way, and a great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326).
